That golden light only held about two minutes last night.
I'm sure it had something to do with how the sunlight was reflecting off the dark blue rain clouds or some such theory, but I don't really know and I'm not going to over-analyze it. It was a gift well received.
Tonight, after evening chores were finished, I walked down to that same spot where the sheep were grazing last night and sat down on the new stone bridge. Maisie checked in with me, but went right back to eating. Her favorite spots always seem to be right at the water's edge.
Enjoy!

I must really need a spring tonic. That grass is looking delicious!
Oh it looks like they have such a rough life. I like that I can always spot Maisie because of her tail.
These are some happy sheep:-)! And who is the one looking intently at you towards the end of the video clip? The one standing next to the gate?
That's Lila at the end :-).
I too look for Maisie's tail now that she's "big". I love her tail and can't imagine her without it :-).
calm..what a nice end of the day:)
So relaxing...
Love the soothing sound of the the water in the video. Maybe Maisie does as well. She certainly does know where the grass is greener and taller! Such a peaceful way to end the day.
Love how Maisie is playing in the creek... funny girl! :)
