It rained much of yesterday. Dark, broody clouds, big rain drops pounding the roof. A dogs sleeping in the wool house sort of day. As evening approached, it tried several times to clear off. I kept looking for a rainbow as it poured in bright sunlight, but never found one. It's probably that you can't see the rainbow if you are standing in the pot of gold.

I thank you God for most this amazing day, for the leaping greenly spirits of trees.......ee cummings would love these captures ;-)
Holy Moly! Those are frame worthy! Absolutely stunning.
Love your pot of green and gold ....
SPRING HAS ARRIVED!!!!
well, on your farm it did... ;)
What a great saying! "You can't see the rainbow if you're standing in the pot of gold".
That's just how I feel.
Much classier than "the grass is always greener over the septic tank".
What a beautiful place in the world you have.
Your photos really show the light well. The coloring is so unusual!
So lovely--aren't you glad that you were outside to capture such a magical moment!
Only lasted about two minutes. I guess the super golden color was due to the sun reflecting off dark skies? Magic, none the less :-).
I think you were right...your farm was IN the rainbow! LOVELY!

Love that golden light!
So nice to see Maisie one of the herd.
Um...wow.
I think this is what Crayola had in mind when they created the crayon color "spring green".
Now that is green..what a beautiful bunch of photos..the light is perfect! :)
That light is magical. A blesing on your farm, for sure. And how nice to SEE spring even if we haven't gotten there yet.
