Scritchy Saturday

The weather on Thursday was lovely. I sat out on the Wool House porch and spun for awhile. Maisie alternated between grazing, climbing around on the rock steps, hanging with mom, getting into my roving bag, back out to graze, chasing the chickens and then back to mom for some attention and face and back scritches.

And then a nappy.

I see how she angles her body to let you know where to scritch next. I especially like picture #5 with her face toward the sun. Calendar worthy capture. :-)

What a little nut...pushing her head against your leg. I really like the one where her nose is up in the sun. Blessings from Wisconsin.

Now I wonder who the "move to the barn" is going to be harder on. I guess you are just waiting for warm weather and the cot, or is Blossom still sleeping on the cot? As usual she is still adorable.

What a wonderful Maisie day--she looks so healthy now. Amazing. Another proof that sheep are tough little creatures -- no 'live to die' on our farms, I reckon. ;-)

Looks like a perfect day.

Like everyone else, the "face to the sun" photo is my favorite. It reminds me of Miss Ewenice.

I hate to think of what would have happened if you didn't enter dear Maisie's life. You are truly a blessing to her - what a darling sweetheart. I just adore your photos of her.

Look at her... soaking up the sun and all of your attention. Nothing like a little lovin' on a sunny porch. Sweet!

Can I bring my spinning wheel over one day and spin with you? Oh can I bring my camera too and hang out with Maisie and the rest of the flock.

I can't believe this is the same Maisie. She has gotten so BIG!
