From The Department Of You Can't Make This Stuff Up

I found a small plastic frog buried in the compost pile the other day.  Like finding the baby in the King Cake, funny farm style.

This makes you queen of the garden, perhaps?

My very favorite greeting card I ever sent had three small plastic frogs attached. It informed the recipient that they were prince seeds, and she should plant them in good soil, with full sun, and tend them carefully.......

:-)

She found a really dear man not terribly long after, and is still happily married to him, more than 30 years later -- maybe they worked!

:-)

Ok, I need to call and talk to Maisie and Blossom maybe even Hank, they are not holding up their end of blogging if all you can post is a plastic frog..... LOL.

Weather here is supposed to be sunny and warm again .... hooray.

My gosh... our henyards are made on what we think is an old dump from many years ago... we keep finding things coming to the surface over the years, but nothing ever so unique as this!

Love it! Isn't it fun to unearth strange things when working the land? I once dug up a plastic alligator, that gave me a bit of a start. Then, I found a Fisher Price person in the middle of our pasture. I guess Pippin had dropped his toy there!

OK, for a split second I thought it was a real frog, and I was concerned because he looked so shriveled up and poorly. I hope you've given him a place of honor now. Wish he could talk!

Ok, I had to look up King Cake. No experience with one of those. :) But the plastic frog in the dirt? It must be more common than we'd think. I found one eerily similar to this one when I was cleaning out a shed last summer. Actually, the 11-year-old found it first and then hid it strategically in just the right place to give me a heart attack. Very effective. Gotta love em, kids and plastic frogs.

LOL. An uncompostable froggy! This is interesting. You've never seen him before? Maybe it's some sort of weird magic. But yes, you ARE queen for a day.. or more if you want! :)

Strange things appear in the lining of our washing machine. Eye ointment tubes (horse), screws, you name it.

We had a 'King Cake' today, and I found the baby--I would've rather had the frog, then I would have been outside! :-)
