A Little Sigh Of Relief

"Is that a cool(ish) breeze I feel?"

"Yeah, this is much better."

We got about 45 minutes worth of rain yesterday. And the temperature didn't break 90. For the first time since I can no longer remember.

I'm sorry you hate summer. I hate winter (you would, too, if you had my winter). I would love to break 90. Shoot...a week of 70-80 would be nice. Getting down to the 40's at night is keeping my flowers from blooming. I'm so disappointed. The animals are happier I'm sure.

Isn't it grand. today the high is 89... 89 has never sounded so good.. that prolonged period of heat taught us a proper lesson about appreciating a day like this.. love your images today, such peace in that fat wee face.. have you weaned her yet? Minty is still on two small bottles a day. She has taken to jumping IN with the calf each morning so that she cannot be forgotton.. c

One day of cool! I think we are all exhausted from the heat. Thank you so much for the package it came yesterday in the mail. I wrote about it on my blog today:)

I'm so thankful for the relief. (..and the reason you can't recall such lovely temperature is because your brain is a bit scorched around the edges ;-)

She looks a bit content, can't wait for fall, this heat sucks!

So glad your heat has broken, at least for now. Blossom looks adorable, as always.

I'm taking a spinning class! Something I've always wanted to do.

Hopefully the extreme heat will subside for awhile for you... we are having a very hot week (near 35C today) which I HATE! Give me winter anytime. Love the pics; as usual, Blossom near fails to put a smile on my face. Thank you!

She looks so happy, and look at those eyelashes! I'm glad for you that the heat has lessened a bit. We are so dry we will have to start feeding hay to the flock tomorrow. Pasture is simply not growing back. Brown and crunchy
:-(
