Going To Town

Keebler and I demonstrated spinning at the Raggedy Ann Festival in our small town today. It was a beautiful spring day, my company just the cutest and I got to actually sit down and spin for awhile.

A perfect day!

A Raggedy Ann Festival?? How sweet!!! Keebler sure was working hard there wasn't he? Looks like it was a lovely day for a festival too!

I can't wait til we're able to have land and lambs!!! My daughters beg to move every time we drive through the countryside. They want sheep and goats, chickens and mini horses.LOL

Thanks for stopping by to see Buster. Jasper(our male tuxedo) took over the raising of our last rescue, a sickly Japanese Bobtail, last fall so Buster is his second "child". Jasper is the second male we've had with strong mothering instincts. Several years ago we had a brindle tabby who let two kittens(unrelated to him or each other) *nurse* on him for almost 2 years!

Keebler seems quite comfortable in his mommy's lap. He approves of your spinning his family's wool, too. Looks like he is being the best petting lamb ever! Hard to believe he is such at natural for only 10 days old!

What a hoot! Keebler looks like he is ready to go on tour. What an adorable little guy. Yesterday was a great day for a festival too, wasn't it? Perfect weather!

You make me so homesick! I am home! We had 100 sheep and angora goats which we sold after taking a job traveling for five years. How I miss going to demo to spin weave and knit. I loved the videos, the children reminded me of days gone by. I love Kebbler, I wanted to cry when you were giving him a bottle! I miss doing it! You bring to me the life I miss so much. I need to find a few lambs! I have a Hungrian Komador Dog, and two Boer goats. I have them on Craigs List for sale. But I am going to keep my wonderful dog. Do you know anyone in blogland that sells sheep, or angora goats. I live in Mississippi. Thank you for a fun morning, of things I love!

Keebler looks like the star of the show! How nice for you to help the festival kids to connect the animal, wool, and spinning.
