And Then I'll Shut Up About It

One last Tour de Fleece post.

Of course the best prize for completing the Tour de Fleece is all the yarn you've enjoyed spinning throughout the race.  However, most teams award other prizes as well.  As our fearless leader, Maisie helped with one of the prizes for Team My Favorite Sheep this year.

This bracelet is made from her wool :-).  It's needle felted and then wet felted and assembled with a simple clasp.  I then attached a small silver sheep charm.  I think it turned out pretty cute.  Maisie and I hope the winner likes it.

It was a good tour!

How cute! Obviously, however, the little sheep charm isn't Maisie. No devil horns ;)

That is absolutely beautiful. What an amazing bracelet. Wool is just wonderful. Did you know PETA condemns wool, a renewable, natural fiber, because we shear the sheep? They need to see what can be done with the lovely stuff.

Crap........comment got eaten :) But it is a truly beautiful bracelet. Can't believe you did it but why NOT? You do everything beautifully.
Some spinner is going to be very happy!

No, Fiona, PETA needs to see what can happen if we DON'T shear the sheep! THAT can lead to true suffering!
