It really should say "cobweb" weight, but I figured if I did that and didn't put a picture of Kate at the top I wouldn't have many folks looking on ;-). This is really neat though, so I hope you scroll down.
You'll have to click to biggify. Do you see the web?
Do you see how it's anchored at the bottom?
That one strand of web is strong enough to bend that pretty good size mint blossom around!
And it worked. Sorry, fly, but that spider worked hard to catch you :-/.
And here he/she is. Wouldn't it be neat to be able to tuck into a flower like that? Maybe not that exact petal ;-).
A welcome sign of fall!
And we got a little rain :-D.

Amazing web, awesome photos. I love to see webs, especially when there is a little moisture on them, so beautiful.

Amazing! I love dewdrops on spiders' webs! :)
I love how rain and dew drops form little beads strung on the web threads.
That's really cool. Amazing how strong those almost-invisible strands are......
I love these photos, especially the top one with dog, web, and flowers. The second one is great too with fence posts and cobweb. And the one with the fly all tied up in the flower petal. You have a great eye for special things in nature. They seem ready to frame or calendar or notecard material. A joy to wake up to these pictures in the morning. Thanks!!!
Love it! It's fall when those little webs appear!
I hope Kate didn't accidentally snuffle over and break this eight-legged (armed?) raveler's amazing spinneretwork. I love the addition of (rain)beads.
Fabulous Captures! The spider and the photographer.
Amazing photos, Sara! And glad you got a little rain. It continues to be a long, extraordinarily hot and dry summer here.
beautiful photography. I wish it was real cobweb weight wool :)
Lovely photos. Spiders creep me out if they are in the house, but outside I rather like them.
Lovely photos. I had never heard a saying about spider webs and fall - what is the saying?
A lovely delicate web! Wonderful shots.
Cool! A wonder of nature! :)
Such pretty photos. I'm happy that I found your blog :)
I love how rain and dew drops form little beads strung on the web threads.
