Just a normal, everyday sort of afternoon, with our favorite Adventure Chicken, Amelia, doing a little "fishing" down by the creek.
Hanging out with her sheep friends and good guard dog, Hank...who notices some trouble heading their way.
"T-Bone attack! Everybody back to the barn!"
Poor lame old T-Bone, walking slowly, but too closely to Hank's sheep. Everyone heads in.
That chicken is getting it! ;-D
"Hey, wait! Guys? Wait up!"
"Whoa, what's that?"
"Never mind. I'll be up in a minute."

Always entertaining at Punkins Patch.:)
Are you sure Adventure Chicken isn't part squirell? Good boy Hank!
Your photo stories would make awesome kids' books. Just saying. :)
Again your post has made my morning!!! You never fail to put a smile on my face and brighten my day!
Your animals are just the best, such great personalities!
LOVE that first photo! So serene :)
I hope your are enjoying Fall :)
Love the photo of Hank on alert!
Loved this post! Amelia is perfect.
I don't know how you can hold your camera so still. I shake mine when I'm laughing.
Hank n' horses ~ they're fine as long as they are separated by a fence :-)
How is T Bones leg? If he's still lame, it must not be better :-/ Getting better?
He has a chronic issue that comes and goes. Currently in a bad swing, but he's still getting around okay and happy :-).
Now THAT is a chicken for you!
Linda
I love that chicken! I'm glad Hank is on the job protecting the four and two leggers.
I love Hank! And that chicken is a riot. You really know how to tell a story. You should make children's books. You've got the gift of humor, storytelling and the best material to work with. Thanks for the smiles.
Oh that is SO chicken! Wonderful post.
Hank is the ultimate groundskeeper. He is a beautiful dog and you live in such a beautiful area!
