"This top part is for scratching your eyes."
"And your cheeks."
"This part moves to adjust for different size sheep...but I can't figure out how to move it."
"Oh, here, this knob is how you do that."
"What? I was just supposed to be looking at your yarn? Here, let me try to fake some interest."
"Moving right along, the arms are for scratching your back."
"Ah, yes, that's the spot."
"If you put some yarn on, you can scratch your butt."
"It is, TOO, for scratching your butt!"
"This stupid yarn keeps getting in the way."
"I guess it is kinda pretty."
"But I've sure never seen a sheep that color before!"
No skein winders were harmed during the filming of this instructional article ;-).

I enjoyed this tutorial on what you can do with a skein wonder if your yarn is already wound or in this case, is still on the sheep !!! Bulwinkle is so resourceful !!!
My goodness he is getting tall:)
He really is growing to moose size! He has a sweet face, though, but not as sweet as Liddy. :)
BW is so cute! Just so you know, though, the warranty doesn't cover accidental damage due to butt scratching. haha ;-)
I can't get over how big he is now!! Is he still living in the house? You must have really scolded him about scratching his bottom on your yarn..... his ears are all laid back!!
I still say you should do story books with your photos and captions!!!! This is awesome!
Adventures at Equinox Farm - Read stories about Naughty Maisie, Sweet Andy, Baaaad Baaxter, and the one on stilts called Ewen McTeagle. Then there is Miss Tilly who tries, Kate who does, and Hank who watches over them all.
See, there is your tag line. :)
Awe, that's a cute series of photos! Nice colors in that yarn stash.
Clever Bullwinkle to repurpose your yarn winder. He looks like he's going to nibble on that yarn.
As long as he doesn't chew the winder, or tangle the yarn. What a not so little rascal!
Goodness he is growing TALL Fast!
Linda
Such a wonderful post, really made me smile.
What a 'Built" lamb he is so chunky!
Sweet :-).
You can't really see it, but he's PAWING through the yarn :-o.
What a hilarious (and beautiful!) series of shots!!! I think you need to do sets of captioned cards for these.
My daughter was about 16 months old when she announced "I no baby. I kid!"
Bullwinkle looks to me to be about that age.............. :-)
Ok I admit it his storytelling ability with just his ears and eyes is amazing. It is nice to see him turning into a little tank of a lamb.
Thanks for another great post!
I have been wondering what became of the colorful dyed yarn. Does this mean a project is about to begin? With Bullwinkle's help?
Great set of shots! BW has such an expressive face and ears to match! I'll be surprised if he doesn't end up being the biggest sheep at Equinox Farms!
Wonder if BW has a clue where yarn comes from... I am sure "the guys" will fill him in :-)
ADORABLE!!
That's the plan!
Nope. He's still saying "I baby. I still live in the house." :-o
That was the first thing Tim said when he saw these photos! ;-D
We are in the "process" of moving from the porch to the barn... ;-)
Sara, you are HIGHlarious! :0
Oh my, those eyes and ears when he's stretchin' the truth about the skein winder! Precious!!
