A Three Flower Day

My Apostle Plant or Apostle's Iris, sitting in front of the dining room window.  The story goes that the plant sends out 12 leaves and then a bloom.  The bloom lasts one day and I usually see maybe 10 a year.  Today there are three!

Enjoy!

:) Good to see flowers even if they are inside ones!

Love the Apostle plant flowers. We can call these first three: Peter, James and John! I hope the other nine follow! What an Easter treat!

Is this like when you go to dig in your cooking drawer for coconut flakes and you spot a malted egg that rolled out of a package long ago and it still tastes good? No?

Very delicate - like a fairy slipper!! Nice catch!
