Where Are They Now - Blossom

Or Baba as we now call her. I have no idea when that started or why, but Baba she is. And, truth be told, it's usually Baba Baba.

Still cute as a button :-).

ISO 400  f/2.8  1/500 sec and focal length 175mm

This may be a calendar shot.  I love the depth of field.  Just the right amount of sharp focus.  I got lucky, but that's how you learn sometimes.  When you see something you like, remember how you got it so you can repeat it.

I couldn't decide between these two.  Which one do you like best?

The first of the last two I think. More meadow frames it well and you can see all of her muzzle. :).

The middle picture, the 2nd of 3; or to be more precise & answer your question properly, the 1st of 2. . . .

I wasn't ready for a tricky math question at 5 a.m.!

I hope you had a lovely hour of knitting this morning. It looks like you didn't have a sunrise, according to your weather app (58 degrees & cloudy it says....). I really appreciate your putting the Weather Channel app on your blog. It's always so nice to "see" the weather of where you are writing to!

Have a lovely day, Lisa in Oregon

Oh, how I love Baba Baba! The first and middle shots are my favs. I do have to drag out my 'real' camera and get started. I have an unnatural fear of cameras...

That second one is a calendar shot for sure... amazing, especially at full size. Love the layers and angled lines from each side.

Blossom is my fave, I guess because I discovered your lovely site when she arrived :)

I like the third shot the best--next to last one.

I agree with Spinners End. You can see more of Baba Baba's muzzle.

And now you have to go and give her a cookie, because she is too old for a baba.

I prefer the first of the bottom two because the bottom photo lacks a complete picture of the sheep and the top of the tree line is cut off as well, and the background is too blurry. She is ever adorable no matter how you capture her.

Of the two pictures, I like the first one best. Baba looks cuddly and sweet. Isn't it funny how we call our animals by so many names.

The bottom one for me, because I can see her cute as a button eye better.

I like the 2nd one (last photo)

Now thats a tough call, both have things I love about them....maybe the last photo by a tiny margin!Oh you have to put the Keebler teefers shot from your last post in the Calendar! Please mark me down to get one of your calendars.

I agree with the second last photo. Blossom has... shall we say... blossomed?

Beautiful photos! I'm hoping for a new camera this coming b-day/Christmas season...would love to capture images like that! About her name...Baba is an old Czech/Polish/Austrian/Hungarian word meaning "old woman" or "grandmother". In my family, I grew up with a Baba, and am now called Baba to my own grandbabies. Love her name! :)

More nice shots. :-)

I think I like the one where I can see her whole face best........

I like the first one where you can see her face...but crop it a tad to get rid of the light spot in the upper left..my eye kept going there. Great photos:)

I know I'm a little late, but I like the second to the last one. I like to see more of the trees and such. It makes it seem like she is just a part of it all.
