Macro Monday

Scenes from the weed patch garden. This is a good spot for Blossom to run around, explore, play with her cat and eat some veggies weeds.

I first thought this was just a cluster of eggs of some sort, safely tucked under a wheat leaf.

Then I saw the momma bug.

My first thought was the black dots were her eyes. Turns out that's her butt. Oops, sorry.

This is her head.

I love what my camera can show me that my naked eye cannot.

That is incredible! I love how clearly one can see the grooves (veins?) in the leaf of the plant.

I could use your camera ~ to READ!

Love that green arch in the first picture. It is the Mac Donalds for bugs ;-)

Are they aphids? I 'googled' images of aphids, but I really can't tell. Besides it is way too early in the morning to be looking at all these bugs. Yecch.

Alice - funny pun!

Alice always has clever comments, but I gotta give credit to the "make my butt look big" reference too :-D.

Not sure if they are aphids, but that would be a good guess I think. Hmmm...

I think of my camera as a slow magnifying glass....
