Just a quick post (I am so. far. behind.) to make sure my blog still works. It's been stolen/hijacked - content and pictures - and in trying to figure out what to do about that, I started worrying that I could be locked out of my own blog...
It has something to do with spam. More than my pea brain
Of course, using "Butt" in my post title is probably going to attract porn on top of everything ;-).
Creeps.

Ooh, sorry about the blog nightmare! I'm sure you'll let us in on anything you learn so we can be aware and prepared, too.
Blog looks fine to me. How do you figure it's been stolen/hijacked?
Oh, no!! Who's butt, by the way.... (-:
That would be Blossom's butt ;-).
I have a google alert set for Punkin's Patch and it came up with a notification that a blog broken arrow ranch llc had used the name punkin's patch. When I went to see what it was, I found all my blog posts there - with no proper credit - and a ton of advertising crap and if you stay on it very long it redirects you to a porn site.
Sigh.
Creeps! Villains! Rogues! Snakes! Skanks! Good-for-nothings! Swine! Slimeballs! Scuzzbags! How dare they!
Hope you figure it out, I know when we could follow all blogs by emails there was one or two blogs that I would get really strange emails from, kinda sorta hesitated to take off word verification but so far no problems with new format. You would think creeps would have better things to do than hijack a sheep blog.
Oh how awful!! I've not seen anything, and so hope that you get it all figured out--I know how I felt when one of Todd's puppy pictures showed up on Pinterest a couple of months ago (I've no idea how it ended up there) and I can only imagine how you felt about your entire blog.
I hope you get that resolved. Sorry to hear about that.
Then again, they only commandeer the GOOD ones...after all they want lots of traffic on the porn site!
Hey, I finally got it.... a bouquet with a bokeh of Blossom’s butt.
The other butt would be the person who bandied your blog to another site.
One of my friends had her dog's identity stolen. There was a dog's version of myspace and she found her pictures with her dog on there. Apparently her dog had another name and a completely different family that she didn't know anything about. She had to have the site's owner take it down.
:-( How do people even have time to do that kind of stuff? And why? I just don't get it.
How do you set a Google alert to find out if someone has stolen your blog??? I hope you get it back soon.
Well, I didn't set the alert thinking I'd catch someone stealing my blog. I just set it out of curiosity and mostly have made new friends meeting folks who have linked to me in a polite and proper way. Sigh.
Oops - forgot to include the link.

What kind of piece of dirt hijacks a sheep blog?? Eeesh, isn't even trying to weasel money out of anyone, just sending to PornLand. Yuk. So sorry it happened to you. Good for you on finding protection so quick. Thanks from us other bloggers.
Love the pic with Blossom bokuh!
That's rotten! Grrrr.
Great pic....hope things get worked out for you.
Might have just been a glitch, great pic..:-)
Is NOTHING sacred???
Seriously, that really is nasty.
Blog theft...terrible time suck. It once happened to me ...but it was years ago. I can imagine it is worse now.
I flagged the faux blog and wrote to blogger...and soon the mess got cleaned up.
Lovely photo,btw...is it spiria?
Oh No I hope you got it all straightened out..off to check the link for the alert :)
