Here, I'll give you a hint.
It's a good hint.
Maybe this?
Here's another one. For some reason this flower reminds me of B. Willard.
Look at all these golden flowers.
And green foliage.
Hard to believe it was almost 100 degrees just a couple days ago. Now it's too chilly to even want to sit out under the pear tree.
This is an heirloom cherry tomato named "Coyote".
Probably should be named kudzu. They've overtaken much of the garden's north end zone. That's another hint. A big one.
Is today the day I go out and pick all those tomatoes? I really should, but it's still raining :-). That's an okay trade.
So, what is today?
Woohoooo! The start of football season. Packers played an exciting game against the New Orleans Saints and won 42 to 34.

Football starts...Green and yellow...let me guess - a Packers fan?
The second photo is beautiful. It's starting to look like fall at your place.
I LOVE your green and gold pictures LOL! Go Pack!
Nothing like a bit of yellow for cheer!
I have no idea of what today is the start of! Now I'll be hanging on a limb all day waiting to find out. But the pictures are lovely! And Shirley, if the leaves are turning in Kentucky already, its probably not a precursor of autumn, but an indication that they've been droughted out! In TN our leaves didn't start turning till the end of Oct almost!
I'd have to say football as well. All pretty pictures. We have one of those prolific yellow cherry tomatoes as well. LOL
Packer mania kicks into high gear! :-)
Looks like that pack of coyote cherry tomatoes almost touch- down to the ground. ;-)
Go Pack Go!

Great pictures. The yellow and the wet weather look so fall like. I guess it is almost here! Those cool mornings we're having certainly make me feel like it's fall!
