Local Lambs

With no bottle lamb this spring, I'm having to get my lamb fix(es) with a little help from my friends. Today I had to run some advertising postcards for the Kentucky Sheep and Fiber Festival over to Kathy (where Keebler was born).

Look at this lil' patootie. He might have to come home with me.

Or maybe this one.

This momma made it very clear she wasn't letting me anywhere near her baby.

But this proud momma was happy to pose for a family picture.

The mommas and babies have access to a big barn when they get too warm.

But really, nothing beats sleeping out in the spring sunshine.

Well, except grabbing a cute lamb and sitting down in the sun with them.

They are all darling. If you get the black one, does his wool spin black or will it be more of a dark gray?

So why don't you combine lamby snoggles and that trip to Oregon and come to Boulderneigh? I have a lovely jet black fellow that would fit in one of those little under-the-seat foo-foo dog carriers.... ;-)

One picture is more sweet than the other. How old do they have to be before you can safely bring them home?

The expression in that first photo is priceless.

I'm with Michelle. Isn't it time you added SHETLAND to your flock?

Enjoyed the photos. I am coming to the KY Sheep and Fiber, it will be my first. I am taking two needle felting classes. Hopefully will come away with some cute needle felt sheep that I created myself.

I must concede that the lambs may be even cuter than our alpaca crias... sigh. Thanks for sharing!
