April Flowers...

...are hopefully bringing some April showers. We are over six inches behind on rain this year. The flowers have been lovely though.

Most of the wool has been stripped from the forsythia bush, so there are a bunch of cushy nests around here I'm betting.

The new vegetable garden...and my favorite part of the garden - the fence. Probably not a good sign that I'm more excited about the fence ;-).

Keebler says "Thanks everyone for all the Happy Birthdays! I had a great party and we ate lots of cookies and mom says we raised over $75 for Sebaastian at Best Friends."

I'll leave the comments open through the end of tomorrow for any belated birthday wishes.

So it the garden on the opposite side of the house as the garage? Beautiful flowers; hope you get some rain. We've gotten a lot in April to make up for some of our lack; haven't heard recently where we are now for our water year.

Your backyard is a slice of heaven on earth for all the creatures that inhabit it.

Beautiful. Sigh...we're in "brown and gray" season here - dirt, melting snow, no leaves or grass yet, and all the lovely trash that was buried under the snow (it flies out of trucks and such - REALLY ugly!)

I love your photos and can almost smell the fresh verdant pastures.

Beautiful photos Sara. And I love the fence around the garden! I'll have to make sure Gary sees it. I'm quite jealous.

I will shake a rattle and do a rain dance in your general direction!

Gorgeous bud and blossom!

(and lovely fence! around here, it wouldn't do a bit of good...the deer would jump right over it, and the chipmunks, woodchucks and rabbits would slip between it!)

I think it so sad that people get animals and then find out, wow...they eat and they poop and they pee and they 'do things' and gosh that is just so much W.O.R.K. so lets just dump/drop off/ give to a shelter/ and be done with w.o.r.k. and go out and watch a movie.

You are a gift for animals, Sara!

That's a lovely garden fence! We got your missing rain this week and are having a small flood today...had to take an alternate route back from SA to get home.
