Mia Sized Blog

If you are having trouble with the new blog layout - be it weird fonts you can't read, pictures slow to load on dial up connections, just miss the old format... click the picture of little Mia on the sidebar. It will be the same blog (still working on it), just smaller. Mia sized instead of Boudreaux sized. I think. Let me know!

It's Spring Inside As Well!

This is my favorite houseplant. Her common name is an Apostle Plant (we refer to her as The Apostle Plant) because she sends out an iris type bloom only after she's produced 12 leaves. Each bloom lasts one day and one day only.

Today there are three and my whole office smells fantastic!

I have never heard of an apostle plant - it is beautiful! That's crazy too that Elizabeth let you get close to her today - she sounds like our Alice - I can't imagine her ever letting us get close to her - not on purpose anyways!

What an exquisite blossom! I don't think I've ever heard of that plant before....

I am fascinated by the plant. Wherever did you find such a treasure?

I've had it so long I can't say for sure anymore, but there's a good chance it came from my mother. I'll start some cuttings for anyone close enough to ship to.
