PPPP

PPPP should have had a better name. Well, it was started out as Pearl (very pretty) and then it was Popcorn (very cute), but for some reason (probably because she lived in our kitchen much of the winter) neither name stuck and and she got called Pee Pee (which I now regret). In the end she stayed with Popcorn PP Pants or PPPP.
Most of our sheep know their names. I can call out someone specific and they respond either by talking back or looking up or coming over. PPPP either didn't mind her silly name or maybe PPPP sounded good in her ears. I'd say "PPPP" in a sing song voice and she'd always reply "Ma-a-a-a-a-a-a".
I wish I'd recorded her like I did Buddy. "Ma-a-a-a-a-a" always sounded good in my ears.

14 years is a good long life. Especially whit you as the Shepherdess. Very sorry for your loss.
Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry about losing PPPP.....you’ve had a really hard time this year. Judging by the look on her face, though, I can tell she was a sheep well-loved and one of good humor. I think she rather enjoyed her ewe-nique name.
I’m sorry you have lost another beloved family member. Peace be with you.
So sorry for your loss.
I can't believe it's never occurred to me to record my animals' voices. I've always loved that their voices are so individual. I think I have some work to do now. I bet you have PPPP's voice on a video somewhere.
I cherish the bookmark that reflects a young PPPP... makes me smile every time I sit at my desk. It's so hard to loose a favoritw )))hugs(((
Good girl, PPPP.
I'm sorry for your loss.
She was such a regal looking sheep. I'm sorry she's gone.
I’m so sorry. The fact that you gave her so many names hints at how much you loved her. And that she said Maaaa says how she felt about you.
RIP Pearl. Now bounding in the grass beyond the pearly gates.
What a beautiful face! PPPP’s name may be “silly” (I think it’s cute) but her regal appearance belies it. I’m so sorry for your loss. Cherish your memories of her.
2019 had its highs and lows for you, didnt it? I'm sorry another beloved sheep has left your farm for the final time. I hadn't known she was a kitchen lamb. That's a great memorial photo of her. Thinking of you today. Take care.
I am sorry but PPPP had a wonderful life and a long one too! It is never ever easy to say goodbye to any animal or person they hold a special place in our hearts.
May PPPP have a safe journey. Lovely ewe she was.
Almost 15 years old; wow. She looked so beautiful and regal that she was the "chosen image;" what a wonderful way for the queen to be remembered. Cheviots have always been my favorite "face"!
O! Gosh! Sigh! I'm glad you had her for a very long time, but still...well you know. Hugs!
I had to look at her photo again. She is such a beautiful ewe! Beautiful!
She was a regal looking sheep. I don't think she minded whatever her name because she was so loved.
As she was a kitchen lamb she was saved and given the best possible home.
I'm so sorry, Sara.
I am sorry for your loss. She is very very pretty in this photo. We never have them as long as we’d like to. She knows she was loved.
My PPPP bookmark is as well loved as the gal herself.
So grateful to you for sharing your farm life with us.
Truly a Pearl amongst the sheep. She picked a very special day to depart this world.
So sorry...I loved her name so unusual it always made me smile:)
That's a great picture! I hope someone takes one of me some day that makes me look that regal. (As if!) She had a wonderful life and never had a minute of want. Very sorry for the loss. Young or old, they are all missed.
