I have once again taken pictures for a Yarn Along post because a. I have actually been knitting a little bit and b. have a fun book to share. This time I can't get my computer to recognize my camera card. I give up. Maybe next week. Sigh...
In the meantime, here are some fun pictures of my sunflowers and the birds who are enjoying them. This was at least early last week. Things were still fairly green. They are now brown and toasted. And every time the forecast looks like maybe this never ending summer might be over...it rears it's ugly head. Maybe next week...

"Maybe next week" Hugs B
I look forward to the knitting photos and in the meantime the birds will thank you for this great feast of sunflowers.
It is in the 50's this morning in CT. Glorious! I hope your weather cools down soon.
Hasn't this summer been an adventure. We are glad the locals tell us it was/is not normal. The cooler evenings are wonderful but that heat is still lurking isn't it. Our Sunflowers have been eaten by the darned raccoons! How has Hank done in the heat?
We are cooling way down now. We only sleep with the bedroom window open and the cats rolled into balls on the bed. They would like closed, but we like the cool.

Hank has done pretty well. He has lots of shady spots to sleep during the day. When it cooled off for a couple days a couple weeks ago though, he got really excited and bounced around playing. He and I love cold weather :-).
Me too! I hate sleeping with the AC on.
We have cooled down! Hope you do too soon! Your sunflowers are beautiful and I see some of my Goldfinches have found them already! :)
Your flowers are still pretty. Ours have succumbed to the heat and humidity and lately to two tropical storms.
Maybe next week summer will leave. Or at least start to slither away.
I love those bird pictures!
We had a mackerel sky this morning; I'm crossing all fingers and toes for this weekend's forecast rain! Hoping you get some soon, too.
We seem to be cooling down at night. Hope you do soon. Love the sunflowers and birds.
Sunflowers in all phases are lovely!!! I love them
