Casper Belly is always sleeping with her mom, Emily. Hershey is always by the big fan. Murphy is always near the big fan. I predict next year he makes a move to unseat Hershey. Try to help me remember that. That's Allie peeking in the front.
Poor Buddy. That wall can't be that comfortable, even with an ear pillow.
Here's the odd(est) one, Woolliam. Woolliam never sleeps outside. Never. He sleeps in the inside stall in the back corner. For years that's his spot and no one ever challenges him. Or if they have, they've never won. Even though I know he wouldn't be out here if he wasn't so hot, I think he's adorable sleeping on his straw pillow. No one sleeps like Woolliam. No one.

Got to "Respect the Wooliam"!
Interesting to see where each lays his head so there's a peaceful place for all. :-)
Poor Buddy. He needs one of those "cooling pillows" sold in the big box pet stores.
Sound asleep...............zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz1

It's interesting that they all have their spots to sleep in. My sheep are more intensive and I haven't noticed any pattern with them.
After days of picking fleeces all I am seeing is VM,VM, VM, lol
Does Casper's one horn come down right in front of his eye? Those Jacobs are sure an interesting looking breed.
At least they are sensible cuz only mad dogs and English men are out in the noon day sun..............
I'm curious about Casper Belly's curled horn . . . does it impair her vision? It looks uncomfortable; is she just used to it being that way? Woolliam looks so sweet sleeping like that . . . reminds me of a cat sleeping! Hope you have cooler temps very soon.
I think they call what Casper Belly's horn does "candled", like it melted down rather than stands up. It's a flaw, but not super uncommon with a four horn. It's hard to get four perfect horns like Emily's. It hangs down near her eye, just off to the center a bit. She has good vision and doesn't seem bothered by it all. It's not super tightly anchored though and I wonder how it doesn't get knocked off. Of course, now that I've typed that... ;-)
Thanks for the info on Casper Belly's horn, Sara. I'm glad it doesn't cause her any difficulty. I have, and continue to, learn so much from you!
