Um, Okay...

The day started fairly bright and clear. Around 9:30, a thick fog rolled in. Now if we lived along a coast or something, that might not be such an odd event, but I don't remember ever seeing a sunny morning turn foggy like this in Kentucky.

A foggy day makes for pretty pictures, I think.  The light is softer, colors richer, textures more visible, no one's squinting.  Since the camera was handy... :-).

Isn't this crazy?

Good Morning, I just found your blog from a blog-list on one of my friend's blogs and had to come visit. These photos are beautiful; I agree that the fog is a wonderful filter for photos. I am so impressed with your blog and your talents. That wreath with the lavender is gorgeous and you make your own yard and sweaters. . . that blows my mind. I once many years ago, had the good fortune of sitting next to a lovely lady on an airline trip, she also raised sheep and made her own yard. I've thought of her so many times and wished that I would have gotten her name and address to keep in touch. I would love to invite you to my blog and if you would decide that you like it, I would love to become mutual followers. Your lifestyle intrigues me. I love to hand-stitch quilts, but your handwork is so unique. Marvelous!
Happy October!
Connie :)

I know Maisie is the star but I have to say Renny is my Favorite Sheep! The photo of her is priceless!
The other thing is I love the way your "critter's" Have multi names! I have always done that and some people think its strange but its just suited to some animals. The last Good Stallion I had had a mile long registered name. It did have Champ in it but he got all sorts of things...Chompers, Studly of course! Bucky some days! The fog does seem strange for this time of year!

So beautiful and peaceful. :) And I just have to know...is Baaxter as soft and snuggly as he looks? 'Cause every time you post a picture of him, I just want to hug him! :)

Wow, Baaxter has grown so big. Great pic of Weaslie, will have to take a picture of my daughter's Corgi, Easy she could be Weaslie's twin.

Same thing happened her in south central Pa. Sunny morning and now foggy. And yes...weird.

Graham looks so regal.
Baaxter/LambieLambie's legs have gotten long.

Baaxter IS as soft and snuggly as he appears :-). And I guess he's figured out I'm headed to the Wool Festival this weekend as he's been extra clingy all day. He's a sensitive momma's boy. And that's just fine :-).

A couple years ago RENNY was the star. They are all stars :-).

I was thinking the same thing- Graham looks quite regal. Sir Graham, that is.
We had a foggy morning here too.

Baaxter is the most wonderful colour.
If you ever 'let' any of his fleece go up for sale I may have to have some.
YES, Maisie is still the star...in my book anyway.
Sir Graham indeed :)

I am a Jester fan (it's those horns and spots!). Must say that Baaxter has gotten so big - not a lambie any more (sniff!)

Fog for you all and tons of rain for us. This has been a weird year.
