I was only planning to do mug shots for potential hugging candidates for the Open Farm Day this Saturday (details below), but I got carried away. Besides, even if Jester and Elizabeth are really. quite. sure. they do not want to come out for hugs, they said they'd love some cookies back at the retirement home.
I think the mug shots are hysterical. Between the first batch with baby Maisie, Keebs, B. Willard, Petunia and Henri and the second group with Graham, Hershey, Ewen and Baaxter and now this big bunch, I'm getting close to having one for almost everybody.
Why I felt "mug shots" were the best way to present our flock, I just don't know ;-). In no particular order...
Who would you most like to hug?

Hug A Sheep Day Party at Equinox Farm October 25th!
Come out this Saturday between 1:00 and 4:00 and hug your favorite sheep. We'll once again have a small pen set up in front of the barn (since the weather looks great!) and we'll probably rotate a couple different groups of sheep in and out so no one goes into a diabetic coma from too many cookies.
Vanilla wafers and graham crackers are their favorites, but saltines and other crackers go over well too and aren't quite as sugary. Seriously, the sheep have no self control, so let's all work together to make sure no one over indulges. A stash of leftovers is a treat that keeps on treating ;-)
If you have any questions or need directions, drop me an email. If your directions last year had you coming out Hwy 32, you need better different directions. Coming the longer way is actually almost shorter and definitely less "interesting", which would be a good thing ;-).
Bring your wheel, spindle, knitting, crocheting... There will be plenty of seats on the porch and around the barn and we'd love to see what you're working on. Show and tell of finished items is always especially exciting!
Have a question about something you are working on or maybe you'd like to learn how to spin, knit...? There will be plenty of uber knowledgeable fiber artists here who'd be happy to get you started down the path ;-). Come find me and I'll pair you up with someone.
Have questions about sheep - breeds, care, wool, wool processing, guardian dogs, foot warming dogs, useless cats...we'd be happy to share what we've learned. We'll even have some beekeepers on hand :-).
Hope to see you Saturday!

Oh I am loving Daniel it may be the guilty look in his eye:) Hug B
All of the above....PS. I would love a calendar. Either one or both.
Hug 'em all, I say! Very cool mug shots. They should actually be on, well, mugs. I would buy a Maisie mug shot mug.
Ok where is Baaxter and Maisie's mug shots and need one for Hank too I would be there if you were not so darn far away. Have fun.
They are in the previous posts - linked. I think I'm going to keep them as babies for awhile longer because they are so funny, but I guess I should update them at some point. I really should do Hank. I'll add him to the list for the next group.
Aw, I want to come. Pout. :-(
I would LOVE to come and hug everyone that wanted a hug. Alas, the distance is a problem. The mug shots are adorable. You know you're going to have to do the horses....cats....the rest of the sheeps.... Your HASD is going to be awesome!
I will be giving everybody (including My Favorite Corgi, because every day is Dog's Day) a virtual hug over the thousands of miles that separate me from the beautiful Kentucky bluegrass. Wish I could be there in person!
I love your 'mug shots'. )))hugs((( to all of them :-) We will do a road trip on of these October days... Have fun!
Ohh that sounds like sooo much fun!! Have a really lovely day and please hug the sheep from me!
Love, Ineke
These are too cute- how fun. Well I couldn't choose one, I would give each one a hug and also my favorite farm dog Hank a big hug.
Ok- we need coffee "mugs" with those images- mug shots.
I want to hug everyone, but Wooliam is in the top 5.
I want to hug each and every one! I love your mug shots! I agree with Lorraine and Shirley: they should be on actual mugs! Oh, how I wish there weren't so many miles between us. . . .I'd be there in a flash. Guess I'll have to wait until my husband retires in a few years, and if my health holds out, an October road trip to Kentucky is at the top of my bucket list! Have a wonderful HASD; I'll be hugging all the sheep in spirit. And Comby. And Hank.
Warm Regards, Lisa in Oregon
Why, oh why can't I live closer???
No trips to Disney, beaches or crowded cities; I want to go to Sarah's to hug ALL THE SHEEPS!
Amazing how much these drawings look like the actual sheep-especially the Texels with their block heads! Great job, Sara.
With cookie in hand all of your sheep are huggable. Now I haven't tested the newbies in your family so I would most like to hug all of them!!
Oh my goodness what a LOT of fun! I love them all. But Buddy is especially appealing. ;)
Wish I lived closer, I would bring cookies and hugs.
Blessings,
Valerie
Well, I think the mugs on actual mugs is a fantastic idea. And t-shirts. Maybe you need a Cafe Press shop. Not that you don't have enough to do... :)
I'll be hugging all my guys tomorrow in honor of the day. Have a good one!
Love the mugs! Elizabeth hands down she needs all the virtual hugs she can get:) Hope you have a marvelous day! :)
Those are so funny!
