Monkey Boy

"If I was just a little taller..."

"'Cause those leaves are sure yummy!"

He can stand up for the longest time - great strength and balance.  These were taken a couple of days ago.  Yesterday he figured out how to stand up and then jump even higher!

I've been posting some cute pictures on Twitter, including the jumping shot.  I'm using the hash tag #baaxter for all of his posts, so you can click on that and scroll back if you haven't been following along.

You need to be on Instagram. I am Twitter challenged! Baaxter is too cute!!!

Snowball did the same thing! Such balance he had. And at a year old, he still does this. What is it that is so tempting about leaves as opposed to grass, I wonder? LOVE seeing all your baby photos!

What a sturdy little fellow! I love his markings.

Do you think maybe he could be related to Duke? Both trees in my field are stripped to the exact height of a Soay ram standing on his hind legs, I imagine your trees will be trimmed to Baaxter-height. :-)

He sure is growing fast. He's obviously a 'good eater':)

RuusVerd, Dancing Donkey, that's *exactly* what I was thinking!

Gosh, Baaxter is growing up fast. Soon he will need to be sheared. I volunteer to spin his fleece! :)

Oh these babies. I just spent an hour or so with some baby goats and their frolicking made my day.
Wonderful photos of the little "monkey boy". He'll be climbing the tree soon.

I don't do Twitter, so I'll have to make do with blog pics- which are adorable!

My bottle baby Zelda did that until she got a branch stuck between her teeth. She pulled out her two front teeth and got rushed to the vet. I'm only in my 30's but these lambs cause me more grey hairs than my kids, lol. A week later now and Zeldas back to grazing just fine thankfully. I love Baaxters stories!
