Uff!

"Did you see that huge bee just buzz right by me?!?"

Interestingly, these two lambs are sisters.  The little one on the right was so tiny when she was born that her mother must have thought there was something wrong with her and didn't even clean her up.  Nancy intervened and now she's just fine and, I think, one of the prettiest lambs of the season :-).

I really should bring Lamb Camp to a close and get back to work here.  Well, I've been working here, but you know what I mean.  I have pictures and stories of our "lambs", pictures of stuff I'm getting ready for the Kentucky Sheep and Fiber Festival, stuff in the greenhouse...and an endless supply of sleeping cat pictures.

I'm not sure why I keep taking those other than the complete disbelief that they don't. do. anything.

All day.

Far as I'm concerned you could post lamb camp pics year round. Just too cute.

But sleeping cat pics are good too.

Excellent catch of the bee! I bet it's a carpenter bee. They mimic bumblebees and they have a habit of hovering. The lambs and bee look like they're sizing each other up. Glad the little sister is doing OK.

What is wrong with being hooked on lambies? Are you still helping out at your friend's farm?

That has to be the most remarkable photo...I have been trying to get good bee photo's here and 98% are a blurr with nice grass etc in the main frame. I love the look on the bigger lambs face!

Marvelous lamb images all spring..it is making me very edgy about getting our new place!

Ok, now you're just showing off. ;) Please tell us that bee shot was luck.

This one and the one catching the light in the bottle must. be. published. You'll submit them somewhere, right?

All luck! Wood bees are slow and lambs are cute ;-).

Had to laugh at Alice's comment!
The bigger lamb looks like it's squinting to get a better look at the bee, (the one that's missing it's knees!)
