Once again, this is obviously/sadly Not Today. Saturday afternoon was lovely. And that's all I'm saying about the weather. So, grab your own raked up pile of straw or lean up against the fence and soak up some rays :-).
Miss Maisie Daisy
Lila and B. Willard. Yes, her nose stayed wrinkly :-).
Blossom
Hank, keeping an eye on "the criminals". I can't remember why Gavin called them criminals on shearing day...but it's stuck ;-). At this point, our cold sheep are thinking he's the criminal.
Heidi and Beanie Baby. Mother and son. Just a coincidence (I think) they are sleeping near each other.
Emily and Casper Belly. Mother and daughter. No coincidence (I know) they are sleeping next to each other. I like how everyone's staked out their own pile of straw. That's Popcorn PeePee Pants on the left.
And what is our dear friend Graham Lamb doing while everyone is sleeping? Standing there staring longingly at Hank's food bowl, plotting a way to get to it. And yes, Graham and his tail are so fat that it DOES look like he has four butt cheeks. Go ahead, click to biggify. Four butt cheeks.
"I heard that!"

Love the picture of Hank and the Criminals, LOL
LOL. Poor Graham. No respect.
I hope no one gets sick and that your weather warms up a tad! Everyone is enjoying those rays..four butt cheeks:)
I love the names all your sheep have! Choosen so well to suit their personality.
I wish we had weather like that. Here in Holland it is cold, snow and icy winds. Not nice at all!
Love, Ineke
I love the picture of Blossom.
I think Graham needs a little treadmill action.
:-) His posterior does look chubby:-)
Loved the picture of Blossom! They all look like they are comfy and cozy!
Some posts just bring a big 'ole smile to my face.
brother, I sure know who I'll call if ever I need to name an animal!
...pee pee pants...oh I just love that one!
and Blossom is so adorable...
like Maisie....oh such beauties
you have raised
They all look content but Blossom looks positively happy! Nice to have a bit of sunshine to help them warm up.
Graham has a "biscuit butt"....well....maybe several biscuits ;-)
I would think that the sheep would huddle together to stay warm. Still the sunshine on their skin must feel great, even if the temp is chillier than it looks. So much for "hold me tight and keep me warm" lyrics.
Such sweet pictures.
We are finally warming up, so surely you will too.
Well that was a beautiful visit! Thank you so much for these wonderful photos!
Oh they are all so beautiful! I couldn't help but think of you yesterday reading another blog. Essentially this post was justifying just getting sheep and figuring it out NOW over planning, waiting, and making sure the time is right. To each his/her own, but I plan to wait until my sheep have a life like your sheep!
Blossom's expression is perfection for a warm sunny day!
