I am counting down the minutes. Not to be wishing my life away, but I've never been so glad to see summer end.

This season always reminds me of the Johnny Cash song "I still miss someone"- I'm going to try to incorporate that into my Sunday Stills post.

I usually hate the coming of Fall and Winter, but not this year. It has been one brutal summer.

that seems to be the general feeling from everyone, no matter where in this country they live. Someone once told me Fall is the best of the seasons since it has 2 names, Fall and Autumn. Let's hope this one is ..........

Double Happy Anniversary!! Hope it's a great day for you. (and I'm with you - summer was the pits - in more ways than one!)

I like Fall, except it means that it will be Winter any day now. Our winters are long and brutal.

It's been a tough summer no matter where you live. I love the heat, but I'm happy to know my animals and people friends are more comfortable. I also love the seasonal food - grape pie, pumpkin ice cream, winter squash, potato soup - so it's OK. It's time.
Happy Fall!

I love autumn, but will also miss summertime. Though i will not miss the dry 90 degree days. Summer in the Pacific Northwest is so unlike the soaking wet winter. :) Our lawn is kind of like straw, and soon it will be green again! Happy Fall to you!
