July

July...was brutal.  So incredibly hot and humid.  Demoralizing.  I did manage to spend about 36 hours up north for a wedding...and that made it almost worse.  Worse in a  "need to buy a lottery ticket" way.  And yet, watching these photo flash by, there was a little good mixed in...but I can say it was better watching it than living it.

The heat and humidity aside, you really do live on a beautiful farm. I see you have mullien- do you harvest any of it ? It is quite a good medicinal plant.

We've been hot (100*+)some of June, a lot of July and now August is heating up. I'm exhausted from the heat. Who thought I would ever say that. And, on top of that, we have wind, and wind and more wind. Not sweet little breezes but huge dust carrying wind. Almost daily. I'm so ready for September
