I've gotten into a routine of taking 'good morning' porch pictures as I eat breakfast this summer. They are posted on Instagram and then to Twitter and Facebook. One of the most common comments I get on them is regarding the magical light.
Here are two pictures (from the camera, not phone) that really illustrate how important the time of day can be.

This is early in the morning, just after sunrise. Notice how the light is golden and soft, filtering in from behind the trees.
Here is a very similar picture, but taken late in the afternoon with the light shining harsh on the front of the trees. It's still an interesting picture, but more because of the subjects rather then the magic light ;-).
Something fun to play around with...

But your "golden light" looks so much better shining on GREEN pastures!
I love your good morning pictures - it does look magical, indeed.
You and the Old Masters artists know this! I especially love your photos of the streams of morning fog.
I'm still trying to understand Instagram...but I'm working on it. Love your light
Light is huge in taking good photos. I take a lot of horse photos and they are usually in bad (bright) light; cloudy days are my friend! I have been enjoying your porch series in Facebook.
Morning light is just magical.
I like your porch photo series:0 Light is everything in photography. I have been just too tired to get up for the early morning light:)
