Honestly, I guess at this point there is a little part of me that just really can't believe he didn't live forever. He was a helluva sheep. It was an honor.

Sara, I'm so sorry. I was thinking of what Jester was and the words I came up with were kind and polite. Whenever I gave him a cookie he was such a gentleman and always seemed to say thank you. He will be remembered and missed.
Oh, I'm so sorry about Jester. Having recently lost an oldie myself, I know how tough it is. It was wonderful that, in his final months, you and Biscuit had all of those special moments together with him. He looked like he was very much a gent.
I'm so glad I got to meet Jester in person. He was such a dignified sheep. He had a wonderful life with you and will be missed greatly. He left mighty big hoofprints in the flock and in your life.
I love that you call out each individual sheep's personality and bring it to life through your blog. Your photo's are worth a thousand words. Thank you for sharing.

I am so sorry... and wanted to tell you it was so fun to see him babysit Biscuit this year. Such a loss.
