Sheep In A Jeep

Or CRV ;-)

Doesn't everybody drive around with a sheep in their car?  :-D

Sheep In A Jeep was the first Nancy Shaw book I stumbled upon.  I have the whole set including her newest Sheep Go To Sleep, which might be my (new) favorite.  I was going to share that for the Yarn Along/Against and just didn't get some cute pictures taken.  Next week!

I've finally worked my way back up to the start of the Clue Three.  Sigh.  Better than living with a mistake.  Don't. Knit. Tired.  And I've been plenty tired this week.  We had an odd cold snap that I thoroughly enjoyed...and used to get a bunch of neglected yard work under control.

I have a couple small flower projects I need to connect with this afternoon and then I'll feel pretty good about everything.  Back at it!

She's an extraordinary sheep. Have you ever had a bottle lamb who became a true pet outside the herd? When is she due to become a herd member?

And we noticed the paw print seat cover too...fancy smancy! :)

My daughter now thinks we need a lamb :)

Love it! What a doll. Snowball used to go in the back of our hatchback. He would take his dinner there, out of his special bowl. He's too big for that now. Liddy is too TOO cute!

They all have been happy to integrate with the flock...but I'm not sure about Liddy. She's a funny lamb and very, very attached to me. If she had a buddy her size, she'd be in the barn by now already...but I don't have anyone her size. I'm thinking on who might adopt her. Sure miss Miss Ewenice!

Well, the funniest part is the grate in the back...which is where sheep usually ride ;-).

Liddy has a little room left, but it's starting to get tight ;-).

Liddy looks perfectly content... And let's hope she doesn't have a growing spurt while out n' about on a ride :-)

For now, she owns the back seat! I suspect she will still continue to squeeze herself in there for awhile longer. Goodness, she is photogenic!

Liddy will NEVER think she is a sheep. I am SO envious. I want a house sheep too. Hey, a neighbour has TWO Great Pyrenees in his townhouse - a sheep (other than a Cotswold boy) is certainly smaller than those. And doesn't shed. And smells better. Hmm... I don't think my neighbors would report me to the HOA. And the new "dog" (haha) would have a toy poodle and two cats to keep her company indoors, and a tiny back yard. Could I feed her bamboo? It grows ridiculously fast...

Such a great picture of Liddy!! Don't ALL lambs travel around in the back of the car??? She sure thinks so!!! She's getting big fast!

Drinking tea from one of 'those' mugs, took one look and ...yup, snorted! Talk about Driving Miss Liddy..........too precious.

She is too. cute. Better than some dogs - doesn't bark at passing cars, doesn't leave fur all over, doesn't drool. She'd be a great pet therapy sheep!

What a precious plump lambie!! Does she cry when you leave her at home? Does she still sleep on the back porch with Kitty at night?
