Me and my cute little sheepy stitch markers are closing in on the top of the sweater. I'm in hopes of getting it finished today, blocked tomorrow and packed for a tiny getaway this weekend.
The book I'm reading?
knitspeak is a handy, well, A to Z Guide to the Language of Knitting Patterns. It lives in my knitting bag.

That is the cutest stitch marker ever. Good luck finishing up your sweater. I know it carries so much meaning to you (and to all of us your faithful followers).
ooo that stitch marker is adorable! and I like the color of your yarn, browns and natural shades are perfect for cold days, they make me feel warmer just by looking at them :)
I think it is so cool that you can sit down and MAKE YOURSELF A SWEATER! I had a friend (now gone, sadly) who could sit down on Saturday afternoon and make an outfit to go out that night... I was always in awe of her, and am in awe of you!
Cutest stitch marker ever! yarn looks pretty too.
Beautiful and so meaningful.
I love the color of that yarn - can't wait to see the finished product!
I agree the earthy color is so pretty- love the stitch markers.
Hmmm. Any chance your little getaway is to Yellow Springs? I'll probably be there on Saturday.
Hey thanks for the yarn along party link! I haven't seen it before and it's a linky party that I really enjoy!
Love the sweater. Maybe someday I'll be able to make one. Have fun on your little get away.

Just catching up on your posts and saw that Bitey Whitey is gone- so sorry! I love that you incorporated him into the sweater -gone but always a part of something special.
What a darling stitch marker! A friendly little face to help you knit even when you're tinking. That sweater is really coming along! Can't wait to see it done! Now you'll have to look for buttons.......
Cute little stitch marker on an adorable sweater! Amazing that you could complete so much with losing a lamb. What a wonderful way to focus your energy on being productive! I'm proud of you.
Great sweater. You are truly on a 'mission' K2tog.......I'll never forget that. Thanks.
Such beautiful yarn! Adore the stitch marker and will have to check out your book! Have a great weekend!
