Okay, so I was properly shamed for not posting a picture of Maisie for Mother's Day ;-). I tried to get a picture with my iPhone yesterday evening when we were hanging out at the bridge, but while she was being super cute, leaning on my legs (sheep hug), wanting me to rub her tummy and her face and tell her what a good lambie she was (which I did, of course :-), the pictures were, um, weird.
Luckily I remembered some funny pictures I taken a few weeks ago. I'm torn between taking Mother's Day points away because I was letting her play in a basket of wool with very pointy objects or giving extra points for holding the wool combs away from her while she was playing and keeping the camera rolling ;-).
We call her the Danger Lamb because from between her birth 'event' to a couple 'fling myself off the couch into the coffee table and knock myself silly' events to 'hey watch me jump off the Wool House porch' and her friend Hickory (!) trying to 'play' with her...she's given her momma more than a few gray hairs!

Of course we, in blogger land, only see the adorable, sweet, funny little Maisie. The "kids" are always different to those looking in. We miss out on the "gray hair" making events!! Love the updates on your little "darling"!!

Oooohhhh:-)! She is such a beauty! Hard at work, trying to flip the basket over. Her coat is a lovely color. Will it be on the skirting table next year?!
And whose fleece is that? Beautiful cream color...tempted to buy some fleece and then just look at it. (Mental note; things to learn: how to spin and knit!).

Love these. She is too cute and curious. That kind is always a challenge to take keep out of trouble.
That is sooooo funny, almost looks like she is looking in the basket and saying "Are you my Mother" .... don't know how you capture so many adorable, fantastic photos. Can't wait for next years calendars, really think Maisie needs one of her own.

Yes, that's the plan currently. I told her she'd probably have to have a bath first and she gave me the one ear back/eyebrow raised look...
Yes, I am hopeful Maisie will be on the skirting table next spring. With the timing of her birth and shearing though, if she gets too hot this summer I may have to sacrifice her fleece :-/.
The fleece in the basket is from a friend's sister - it's a Perendale/Cheviot cross I believe. Fun!
I love how she's rooting in the fleece....no goodies in here...well, heck, I might as well dump it then!
Maisie can have her own theme song...She's a DAN-ger lamb, she's a DAN-ger lamb... (sung to "Secret Agent Man" of course.
Definitely extra points for keeping her safe from the combs and keeping the camera rolling.

Awwww, love the way she just buries her face into the wool. It doesn't really matter WHAT she is doing - she's always adorable!
Too sweet!! You get an award for just taking photos with one hand, much less also protecting little "darling" from dangerous objects.
It almost seems like she was wanting to try that fleece on for size.
