The Crazy House

And for once it's not the house where we live!

On the Wool House porch.

I'd click to biggify.  This one is a classic!

Yowza. Who lives there? Have you seen them?

That is a masterpiece mansion of a nest! How many rooms do you suppose it has? Love the many fibers, feathers, and fluff for it's formation.

My mouth dropped open and I silently went 'O My Gawd!'

I can't tell if they are crazy or a genius.

I'll have pull my bird book out. Small brownish little naughty birds hang around there, but I haven't noticed if that's what's going in and out or somebody else.

This looks like a nest I would build. ;)

They location, location, location, where better to get wool and bits of yarn than the wool house .....

I have baby mockingbirds that are not good at flying yet, fully feathered out but found 2 on the ground, one made it up into small mulberry tree yesterday, sat clinging to the branches all day yesterday, in the wind, forgot to look earlier to see if it was still there this morning.

Red headed finches are building their nest in attic vent over my back door again this year.

Impressive! That is one architectural bird.

Surely this took a collaborative effort. One is definitely the architect (spot on, Strawberry Lane) and the other is an artiste.

Can't wait to see what the children become when they graduate!

Is that a whole sheep up there!?:-) Lots of wool....

well, tahts just like art class in high school...theres always one in the crowd who overdoes it and then the teacher goes wild and its entered in contests and then we just look at the tiny little mashed up ball that we made and said, "well, its in the eye of the beholder"

overachiever birds you got there - better watch out!

Holy cow, that's wild!
