A purple tour of the yard...
A bumble bee working the purple flowers on our monkey grass out front.
Doesn't she make you just want to go out and bury your face in a flower? As always, click to biggify.
Not too much outstanding purple color, but look closely - a forsythia bloom! These are some of my favorite flowers, these renegade yellow blooms that periodically show up throughout the summer. Late for the party? That's me :-).
Purple basil in the dye garden behind the new wool house.
One of "our" honey bees enjoying the concord grapes out by the pool. I've had my fair share as well.
Here's some purple you won't be seeing in our yard. I wish I could say I was this clever, but I have to give that credit to the folks at Packer Palace.

What nice color! We lost all of our colors in the beginning of August with a frost. That's mountain living for you - it can, and does, frost any time of the year up here in the nosebleed section (7,000 ft.).
It was nice to see a garden still "working".
cool photos :)
Nice selection. I love the purple Concord Grapes the best...as a photo...and to eat! :)

Very vivid purple captured from the Monkey Grass. The varied shades came out really well.
In contrast, the deep purple basil shows really rich..... can't wait to see what it does to your yarn.
Great choices!
Great shots. Loved the Favre Senior Moment.
there are all shades of purple aren't there?
What great colors!!! Great pictures!!
Great pics even with old guy in the last pic..:-)))
Great shots, but the Bret Farve one is the funniest!
Nice job, enjoyed them all even the joke. :)
I love grapes that are home grown or wild the best! Great shots!
The purple football uniforms will be in my living room, my husband watches all sports.
I love grapes whatever color they are.
You haven't had any experience with meningeal worm in your sheep? I hope you haven't but if you had, I wanted to pick your brain.
Nice; I like the first one.
Enjoyed the posts below about your sheep, especially the one with the toy and your little look-alike.
Yes, it would be fun to bury my face in a flower! The senior moment is pretty funny!
Honey infused with purple concord grapes, mmmm.
Nice I liked them all!
They are all wonderful purples! I am so jealous of your Forsythia..mine NEVER blooms, it is just green. :)
Great pictures! I'm glad to hear you call that monkey grass. I have some and can never remember the other name, Liriope. I had to look it up for this reply :-).
Lovely variety of violet shots!
I need to get a picture of my morning glories... My favorite color is purple so I really enjoyed your photos!
