It's The Simple Things

All you need is one good stick :-).

That is some intense stick "love"!

I've never, in all my life, had a dog that played :-).

She looks like she is having fun. Does Kate like a cuddle every now and then or is she "all business"?

She is very silly and sweet and will cuddle or play as long as you want, but as soon as she hears let's go feed the sheep, she's All Business!

I haven't had one that played in a while...... These pics remind me of my first corgi, who loved to chew on a gummabone while lying on her back. I think trying to get it back, without getting up, after it fell out of her mouth was part of the fun.

My last corgi liked to lie right near the edge of the couch when he chewed on things. I think, again, the challenge of not letting whatever it was drop to the floor was part of the fun...........

It makes me smile to see Kate with her stick. Thank you for sharing her with us.

Chance does that sometimes in the snow...it is fun to watch. I think his antics are a way of scratching his back! Kate looks like she was having so much fun and it is about time you had a dog that plays! She is a beauty! :)

Welcome to the sunny side of a working BC. Kate reminds me of Dolly in terms of being very smart and able to read the situation and respond accordingly. What a treasure !!! Captures 8 and 9 are frame worthy !!

I am so happy to see Kate having fun!

Hey, what is that green stuff that she is rolling around on?

Shirley said...

You have green stuff. We have white stuff.....
BC's love to play! They will play with anything. Mine go roll in the snow when I let them out.

Never, ever!?! :-o. Then you are in for a treat! Kate reminds me of Starr, my Irish Setter that I had many years ago. If there was a stick in the back yard or park, she'd have it. Frisbee or tennis ball - toss it! A lake - she was in it :-) You are in for some fun!

What fun!! Dogs are so funny, I fell once in a field and was rolling around trying to get purchase to get up (snow and down coat) and my 'crazy person' came over and rolled around with me and looked at me out of the corner of her eyes and 'said'...are
we having fun yet? hahaha

Oh she's SO happy! What a great dog to entertain herself so easily (and harmlessly!). She's the best possible addition to Equinox Farm.
