Under The Rainbow

It's been a crazy few days - bad storms, barn flooded...twice, Baaxter relapsed and gave me another scare (Tim thinks he's faking being sick so he doesn't have to move to the barn ;-), Bill was here shearing Elizabeth and re-shearing the longwools yesterday.  I'll have a post coming on that hopefully tomorrow, Lord willing and the creek don't rise...again.

Best of luck to you, with the weather. You are getting the rain and we can't seem to get enough.

There's a frame worthy capture!
It hides all the troubles and woes on the ground. Hoping a gentle wind blows them all away

Oh Baxter. Being a lamb must be a lot harder than it looks. :(

We're under water too. It's g.r.o.s.s. Yesterday was the first day this year I thought about winter with a bit of kindness.

Hope things start looking up there! Poor little lambie, hope he is ok too. Prayin' for sunshine for you!

Oh, Baaxter! I hope he's pulled through and doesn't slide back down. I don't blame him - it is much nicer in your kitchen and on the porch of the wool house than in the barn. And that's saying something because even I would live in YOUR barn. Wish we could take some of your rain. Hope the creek don't rise again.

Sending good thoughts your way for a bunch of nice quiet days in a row!

You were right there with you before the deluge started!

The new "normal" in weather seems to be extremes – extreme drought in some areas, extreme rainfall in others; extreme winters; extreme storms.... Scary stuff, but that rainbow is a heaven-sent promise. Sure looks HUMID. Prayers for Baaxter.

Temp won't go down but he's eating and drinking and getting into trouble so he can't feel TOO bad ;-).

What a beautifully tranquil image which belies what you've gone through these past days. I hope Baaxter is on the mend now.

Rainbow in the midst of craziness. Must be a sign to let you know all is good in the long run.

Hang in there you excellent farm Momma. All your critters will give you an easy day soon. Just know they will all choose a different day from each other to give you some slack. Wouldn't want to make you feel not needed.

Baaxter baby, please quit worrying your momma Sara and all your friends out here in Blog Land. We love you, lambie.

Beautiful photo, Sara! I know you've 'had enough', but it looks beautiful. Stay dry! I'll send some brilliant blue Colorado sunshine your way :-)
